37' diameter shaft constructed for access to a 12'9" damaged sewer tunnel approximately 120' below grade.
36" Diameter Shafts
Drill depth of 120 feet
Vibrated 80 to 110 feet long temporary casing through soft, squeezing clay soils.
Maintaining the tolerances of each pile was critical due to the full length wide flange beam that was installed into each pile.
36 Backup Piles Installed
18" Diameter Shafts
Drill depth of 120 feet
Piles installed between the 36" diameter piles to insure a complete seal.
